Week Seven Results

This will be my last blog entry for this trial run.

Unfortunately, this product did not live up to expectations. My hair really didn't improve at all. It is still dry and damaged and I will be moving on to a new product starting tomorrow.

Hopefully, this blog will help those considering Baobab to look for other options when trying to fix  broken hair. Thank to Hair Lovin for continuing to support and help me to get back to healthy hair.

Week Five Results

Okay. Week Five.

My hair hasn't changed either negatively or positively since I've started using this shampoo and conditioner. While I think it is a relatively good product, I wouldn't call it a miracle worker. I still see about the same damage that was occurring at the beginning of this trail run.

For someone who is looking to fix dry/damaged hair, I think this won't meet your expectations.

For someone who is looking to maintain healthy colored hair, I think this is a good product and will meet your expectations.

Week Three Results

After three works of using this product, I have noticed about the same amount of repair as in week one. My hopes are still high that at the end of these bottles, there will be significant improvement in the overall texture and health of my hair.

Two Tips with the Conditioner:

1. I've started to towel dry my hair before putting this on. It really helps absorb access water and concentrate the conditioner on my actual hair.

2. I've also started using more conditioner than I did in the beginning. This helps cover all my strands.

Week One Results

I have used the shampoo and conditioner three times so far and have found improvement in the quality of my hair. The frizziness and dryness has died down, but there is still damage- which I expected. It takes time to repair and heal. My only complaint is the amount of conditioner needed to feel like it is covering my whole head and working on all my strands. However, only very little of the shampoo is needed to cover all my hair.

What's this blog about?

Over the upcoming weeks, I will be conducting a trial run and review of Baobob Heal and Repair Shampoo and Conditioner.

A year ago, my virgin brown hair turned white blonde after 4 hours of professional hair help. Ever since then, I've been taking trips to Hair Lovin in downtown Overland Park. Every six weeks, I go through the general color upkeep and maintenance process.

Even with a 4 star shower water filter and various brand name marked down shampoos and conditioners- these white blonde locks have turned dry, damaged, and broken. (See before pictures below.)

Hair Lovin is sponsoring this trial for validation in their recommendation of Baobob to their customers. Hopefully, this review will help you decide if Baobob is right for your hair.
